The Strathaven Balloon Festival will be taking place between Friday 25th of August and Sunday 27th of August 2023.
A chance to see balloon launches on each of the days with 6:30am and 6pm launches on the Saturday and Sunday and the spectacular evening glow just after 9pm on the Saturday evening.
There will also be skydiving from 'The Skymasters, Skydive Strathallan' just after 4pm on the Saturday and Sunday (weather permitting)

For those who can, car sharing is advisable - parking is extremely difficult due to the popularity of the event.

Sorry, changed my mind. Checked out the event, looks like parking is a nightmare. I'll give this a miss.
Hi Patrick, a few of us car shared last year and parked at one of the 4 dedicated shuttle bus car parks - they run back and forth throughout the day. If it's good weather, it'll be busy like it was last year, but it's also a great day out.
