Meet outside Govan Metro station at 19.30. maybe best to park on the street. The shopping centre car park (outside Iceland) is privately owned & limited to 2 hours.
There is lots of urban interest for both building & street photography, as well as the nearby new footbridge across the Clyde to the Riverside Museum, Hopefully we will get some attractive evening light there. Sunset (21.42)

This walk will take in old Ayr around the Fort/Citadel
St Johns Tower, County Buildings Area as well as the Sea Front Esplanade in that area

Sorn will provide the Photo options of the old Village, Including Churchyard.
The River Ayr Way or
The woodland walk around the outskirts of the village.
Some may partner up & walk from Sorn to Catrine & leave a car at each End

This evening’s Photowalk takes in the small but interesting stretch of the Glasgow branch of the Forth and Clyde Canal. The complete Glasgow branch is the section which heads down from the Maryhill Stockingfield junction towards the city centre, but our walk takes in the section that links Partick Thistle’s Firhill stadium and Port Dundas.
