North Ayrshire Mental Health Arts Festival Sunrise Walk - 7am at the Harbour Arts Centre, Irvine
The 2024 North Ayrshire Mental Health Arts Festival Sunrise Walk is on Saturday 12th October.
It will start at 7.00am beginning from and ending at The Harbour Arts Centre in Irvine. There will be elements of the arts incorporated into the walk including music, film, colouring and photography. The KA Leisure activator bus will also be there with tea, coffee and biscuits at the midway point where people will be invited to take part in a gentle standing stretch routine to beach themed music!
Participants will be encouraged to take photographs and short video clips during the walk...similar to our photography walks.
We have been asked if our members would like to support the walk and join in, take some photos, offer some photography tips and perhaps create a small exhibition.

6.45am Staff and volunteers meet at the Harbour Arts Centre, Irvine
7.00am Welcome and housekeeping- Karen Lee & Coastwatch First Aid Volunteers
7.05am Mindful moment with Nova Yoga
7.10am Sunrise walk, with photography tips from Irvine Camera Club
7.50am Drum 4 UR Life will welcome walkers for tea/coffee/biscuits kindly provided by the KA Leisure Activator Bus
8.10am Walk to 'The Dragon' for a mid-way gentle stretch to beach themed music created by Ben Carslaw
8.20am Continue the Sunrise Walk back to the Harbour Arts Centre
9.00am Arrive at the HAC where MHWB resources and Dragon Colouring sheet available for Sunrise Walkers
