The next club print exhibition wiill open on 24th August & be on display until 10 October.
Make sure you take the opprtunity to view these images up close.

A warm welcome back to members old and new for our first meeting of the 2026-27 season where we will be reviewing images shot by our members on our various organised photo walks that have taken place during the summer break.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided at the break along with our usual raffle.  Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

It could be a good night, if you Play Your Cards Right!

Tonight, we will each be selecting a card from the pack to decide which photographic subjects and methods each of us will work on over the coming weeks, before submitting our images to show what we did.  If that sounds a bit intriguing, come along and all will be revealed!  Will Malcolm get to show us his wet conkers for a third year running?

Tonight we will be joined by renowned photographer, David Queenan.

David has been a source of inspiration for several of our members, particularly for his more well known landscape images.  He has also won The Scottish Nature Photography Award 2015 and was Wex Photographer of the Year in 2023.  You can find his work here.

Tonight we are joined by Jeremy Sutton-Hibbert who will be providing a presentation on documentary photography.

Ghosties and Ghoulies and spooky goings on at the Irvine Camera Club Halloween Night!

Bring your camera, along with any spooky themed props that you might have lurking around!  Prizes for the best costumes!

This will be an informal, relaxed evening with an open tea/coffee bar for members to help themselves throughout the evening.  

Tonight we welcome back George Robertson who will be providing us with a presentation entitled 'A Walk on the Wild Side'.  George will take us on a snowshoeing journey through the Arctic Tundra followed by highlights of spending 12 hours in Stockholm.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served during the break, along with our usual raffle.  Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

This will be an opportunity for members to facilitate any studio lighting in advance of The Picture I Wish I'd Taken (being held on 26th January 2027).

This event will be weather dependent.  Please keep an eye out for updates nearer the time.

If the walk doesn't go ahead, we will meet at the Sports Club (address below) and review images from the Glasgow District Photographic Union (GDPU) Portfolio competition.  Images for the GDPU Portfolio were selected by Committee at the end of season 2025-26 and were independently judged.  The judge has provided written feedback for their selected top images.  

There will be no meeting tonight.
