Largs - Fife Regatta Photowalk
From 4th to 12th June is the Fife Classic yacht regatta based in Largs.

This was originally planned as a midweek photowalk, now the Fife Regatta Schedule is published, the best opportunity for viewing & photographing these yachts will be on Saturday 6th June with the Parade & Cumbrae Race.(Ee understand this clashes with the first Ailsa Craig trip, but the Ailsa dates were confirmed before the Fife regatta Schedule was published)
This event only happens on average every 5 years it is an opportunity not to be missed.
For members who cannot make the 6th Other dates where the regatta should be visible & potentially photographable from Largs are planned to be
Sunday morning 7th June
Thursday afternoon? 11 June &
Friday 12th June
I have set a provisional time of 11am on 6th June for meeting at the war memorial on the seafront south of the pier , Largs KA30 8BL. but as there is no time yet on the Schedule or Facebook page this may change.
On Saturday 6th June Largs is expected to be busy & parking will not be easy, it may be wise to travel by train. Trains leave Kilwinning at 21mins past the hour & arrive in Largs at 48 mins past the hour departing at 7 mins past.
