Chase the Sun - Ayr
There is an epic cycle event finishing on Ayr seafront (near Horizon Hotel as event HQ) on Saturday 22nd June 18:00 - 21:00.
The organisers, “Chase the Sun”, have asked if Irvine Camera Club members can capture the riders finishing their 200+mile cycle from coast to coast, sunrise to try and beat sunset at Ayr!
It’s just about capturing as many of the cyclists as possible - we know you won’t be able to capture all of them but there will be around 800 cyclists on the event!

Being local, its where best you think pictures would look nice, whether this is just back from the finish in Ayr or on the seafront itself at the finish line.
Riders will be finishing anytime between 18:00 - 23:00 but the bulk will be 19:30 - 21:30.
