IRVINE Camera club have been requested to Photograph the Chase the Sun (North) again this year.
Chase the Sun (North) is a 200 mile Cycle ride from Whitley Bay to Ayr Seafront, within the 17.5 hours of daylight,, on Saurday June 21st (the longest day).

We are requested to photograph the finishing cyclists both crossing the line & the emotion on completion, & possibly on route. The emotion of completion provides great photo opportunities.
It will require a presence from around 4pm to 10.30 pm for some or all of that time.
The images will be posted to a Smugmug website Similar to last year

As well as a great photo opportunity, it promotes Irvine CC, & raises funding.
It also could provide a good basis for you Panel entry for 2026 with Emotion, Action, Technology, Organisation & Portrait opportunities
