SC5 Culzean photo walk - Updated

NB - ARRANGEMENTS UPDATED.

Meet at Monkton BP - KA9 2RA - to car share, departing at 7pm prompt. Or, if going direct, in Maidens (see deatailed map attached), at 7:30-7:45pm (please let us know either way as a comment on here)....

Photography Challenge (SC5) - Your challenge this evening is to shoot the following 3 themes:

  • Imposing Castle
  • Yourself in the environment (you may need to use your timer!) 
  • Contrast (eg rough/smooth, hard/soft,  fast/slow, large/small, ugly/beautiful... use your imagination!)
Due to it being likely that access to Culzean may be more difficult than when originally planned these arrangements require a longer walk along the beach, and then path to get into the park.

We will aim to work in groups of 2 or 3 and take several photographs during the evening. NB. This can be an easy walk for most. Wear suitable gear.
Over the following week you will process and edit your images and select what you think are the best three photographs – one for each of the themes above. Upload your chosen three to "Enter Competitions" - Special Challenge 5 - on the club website by midnight on Tuesday 17th May.

Sorry I don't understand. Why is the access to Culzean difficult?

They say the entrance barrier is down at 5pm. But we have also been advised that the exit is now barriered properly and although you can get out after 5 it now seems more difficult to get in. Sorry

 Ill be there any one need a lift as i will be going straight from work (ish) with a chance to grab some chips from  Dreghorn or Irvine  6.30 to 6.45   tel -07492908826 nigel.

I've only been during the day and didn't realise they pulled up the drawbridge at 5 pm. Dont fancy the walk from Maidens, sorry.
