This week’s selection of photographs, all taken by members of Irvine Camera Club, were all taken over the last few weeks as they were out and about with their cameras, some local and some on holiday.
With a few weeks left before our Autum season begins we are out making the most of the long evenings and the light.
This week members of the camera club headed up to Glasgow once again, this time to the riverside to see what they could find. Glasgow is always a wealth of possibilities, no matter what the weather and you can always find something of interest to photograph all year round.
The images submitted this week reflected our members interests in architecture of which there is much to see in this area. The river is the main focus and the bridges that span it always create interest.
The Scottie Dog, was part of ‘The Scotties In The City’ public art trail around the city of forty large uniquely decorated sculptures raising awareness for Maggies cancer awareness in the city.
Irvine Camera Club prides itself on being an inclusive club, open to anyone, any age, who is interested in photography, whatever you use to take photo’s. Being social and getting out is an important part of what we do and who we are as club, and making friends and spending time doing something we enjoy is always at the heart of everything we aim to do.
