This week Irvine Camera Club present a set of images taken last week on a walk around Ayr. Starting down at the sea front, we headed alongside the fort and up in towards the town through the old streets.
Unexpected photographic opportunities can be found all over the place in Ayr’s lesser-known corners. Although this part of Ayr is often overlooked by photographers, its unique blend of modern and art deco architecture, together with forgotten signs and objects, offers a wealth of inspiration for those with a creative eye.
It is easy to walk through these streets without noticing their fascinating features. Yet, for those willing to look closely, each detail reveals something worth capturing. When brought together, these images showcase just how much creativity can transform everyday surroundings into something interesting and eye catching.
Irvine Camera Club prides itself on being an inclusive club, open to anyone, any age, who is interested in photography, whatever you use to take photo’s. The social aspect is an important part of what we do and who we are as club, and making friends and spending time doing something we enjoy is always at the heart of everything we aim to do.
So, if you would like to know more about photography or if any of these images have inspired you pick up a camera then you’d be very welcome to come along on one of our summer social walks.
