With our indoor season just about wrapped up until September, Irvine Camera Club are looking forward to our weekly social photographic walks.

But before that, our final competition of the year was a joint print and digital projected image competition and over the last few weeks we have been publishing the print results.  This week we are looking at the DPI results and again the competition was of a very high standard.

Congratulations go to Tracy Ross.  Her image of a Lacewing took the first prize, but as you can see from the other images, the decision must have been difficult.  Again the range of subjects and interests shown by our members always make the competitions fascinating to watch.

If you ever feel like you would like to know about photography or if any of these images have inspired you pick up a camera then you’d be very welcome to come along and share in the passion of photography with other like minded people.

Our evening photography walks will be starting in the next few weeks so if you have an interest in photography, would like to see what we are up to and want to be part of an exciting, all-inclusive club then why not come along, you will be made to feel very welcome.
