There’s no getting around it, this summer has been wet. Undeterred, our season of summer photo walks continues but with the challenging weather there always needs to be a backup plan. The images presented this week are from a visit to Ayr. Once again there are so many great opportunities to find interesting locations and people to photograph around the town to suit the varied interests of our members.
One tip when the light is flat, try using black and white processing on your images. It’s not reliant on colour or great light, but more on shape and form and can often be a different and exciting way to approach taking images if you’ve never thought of it that way before.
Yes it did rain, and the back-up plan? The pub of course, for a social catch up.
We have weekly trips planned all this season and you would be very welcome to come along and join us and you do not have to be a member to do so.
If you would like to come along, learn about your camera, make some new friends, explore stunning landscapes, visit exhibitions and places of interest and see what we are up to, then please take a look at our website and get in touch. Every week we are somewhere different over the summer months: https://irvinecc.co.uk/programme
