This set of images was taken on a recent photo walk up Loudon Hill in the Irvine Valley, near Darvel. Members of Irvine Camera Club, having been thwarted the week before by bad weather, undertook the climb in the name of photography and captured some great images whilst doing so. At 316 metres, it’s not an easy climb but the area is steeped in Scottish History and is a great place to explore. Once again the varied interests of our members becomes evident in the techniques and subjects that they chose to use and photograph.
We have weekly trips planned all this season and you would be very welcome to come along and join us and you do not have to be a member to do so.
If you would like to come along, learn about your camera, make some new friends, explore stunning landscapes, visit exhibitions and places of interest and see what we are up to, then please take a look at our website and get in touch. Every week we are somewhere different over the summer months: https://irvinecc.co.uk/programme
