Robertson Park

With our season of summer photo walks well under way, members of Irvine Camera Club are out and about every week with their cameras.
This week we present some images taken by members who made the trip up to Robertson Park on the outskirts of Glasgow, to see what they could find. At Irvine Camera Club we always look a little further afield to try to find interesting locations that might offer something a little different to what we have on our doorstep. The Spring/Summer is a great time to travel and even on a stormy evening such as this was, it can offer dramatic landscapes you wouldn’t normally see, along with wildlife and plants. It’s a great time of the year and as you can see from these images, Spring has sprung, and colour is returning to everywhere after the long Winter.
We have lots of weekly trips planned this season and you would be very welcome to come along and join us, you do not have to be a member to do so, it’s a great social meetup with a common interest and if you don’t know how your camera works or you would like some tips there is always someone on hand to give some friendly advice.
If you would like to come along to one of our photo-walks, learn about your camera, make some new friends, explore stunning landscapes, visit exhibitions and places of interest and see what we are up to, then please take a look at our website and get in touch. Every week we are somewhere different over the summer months: https://irvinecc.co.uk/programme
