People are always an interesting subject to photograph and this selection of members images shows a vartiety of ways that they can be the subject in your images. Catching people off-guard, or from behind can tell stories, whilst asking them for a pose can bring out their personality.
Sometimes the image is an observation or a record of an event and often there is more of a story to be told. What brought that person to that place at that time, what is going on in their day, how are they feeling, what is going on with them in their life?
Studio portraits are popular with our members and can allow for some creativity in a controlled environment with some clever lighting. So no matter what the weather is doing, there are always people around to capture wherever you go so keep your eyes open for an interesting opportunity.
Our full programme of talks, events and competitions that take place throughout the autumn and winter has just started. We meet on Tuesdays starting at 7.30 at Irvine Community Sports Club, Waterside, Marress Roundabout, Irvine KA12 8DL
