This week’s selection of photographs, all taken by members of Irvine Camera Club, were all taken over the last few weeks as they were out and about with their cameras, some local and some on holiday.
One of the big events of the summer was the Galleon Andalucia arriving in Ayr this week which has generated a vast amount of images already. This summer has also seen some of our members starting to explore drone photography, again this adds something different to the club images that we will see over the course of next seasons competitions and offers some knowledge to those wanting some advice.
Other members have been travelling and we cannot wait to see the images they come back with. It’s always so inspiring to see travel photo’s of far away places, but as I am always reminded we have some amazing places right here on our doorstep as well, you just have to get and about and be open to the possibilities.
Irvine Camera Club prides itself on being an inclusive club, open to anyone, any age, who is interested in photography, whatever you use to take photo’s. Being social and getting out is an important part of what we do and who we are as club, and making friends and spending time doing something we enjoy is always at the heart of everything we aim to do.
If you would like to know more about photography or if any of these images have inspired you pick up a camera then you’d be very welcome to come along on one of our summer social walks.
