Irvine Camera Club’s 2025/6 season is well underway, with our competitions, practical nights and speakers all giving us plenty of things to work on and discuss. Our monthly, online club competition generated a wide variety of images and as always people seem to be a very popular choice of subject as shown in the images presented here.

As the evening’s start to draw in and autumn is upon us, it’s a great time to look back at our images and the memories that they bring with them. It was a great summer this year with a lot going on. As we head into the Autumn, there will be plenty of opportunity to create more memories and images while we await the spring and summer that is to come.

Whilst some of our photographers will head out into the mist and the snow looking for amazing landscapes and opportunities, others will retreat indoors to work on macro or still life images. It’s the perfect time to try new techniques or photographing new subjects, do some studying, whether from books or online or just meet up for a walk or a coffee and talk photography.

The Camera Club Autumn seasons is now underway with a packed season of talks, competitions and practical evenings. We meet on Tuesdays, starting at 7.30 at Irvine Community Sports Club, Waterside, Marress Roundabout, Irvine KA12 8DL

If you have an interest in photography, would like to see what we are up to and want to be part of an exciting, all-inclusive club then why not come along, you will be made to feel very welcome. There’s always tea, coffee and biscuits and if you’re lucky Fiona may have been baking.
