Recently, we were joined by Dave Ferguson who had kindly agreed to adjudicate our annual panel competition.
This challenge is a break from the normal camera club competition, which tends to focus on single images. For this particular competition, we ask our members to submit a panel of 5 images along with a 6th 'panel' image and a statement of intent outlining what the aims of the panel are. The overall panel should have more of an impact than any of the single images and ideally should tell a story.
We're delighted to reveal that Dave's chosen first place panel was this sumptuous, evocative panel from Andrew Albert Flannigan entitled ‘Jantar Mantar’. His statement of intent was “To capture the interplay of light, shape, shadows and people within the architecture of the stone built astronomical instruments.”
Andrew will be the recipient of the Cunninghame Cup for the 2023-24 Season.
