A few weeks ago Irvine Camera Club had a photowalk around Paisley.   Many thanks to Fiona Wallace for organising this one.

To Quote Fiona "Our Tuesday trundle took us on a circular route around Paisley's historic sites and buildings - some restored, others sadly left to rack and ruin.”

The terrain was mostly tarmac - path, pavement and a stretch of the cycle path.   We encountered what is left of the scene of a Paisley disaster and saw what has been erected on the site of some industrial quarters.

We started with one of Paisleys highest parts - Saucelhill Park - where you can get good views across the valley and up to Glasgow

Our themes for the evening were, “The old and the new”, Buildings and Abstract details.  I hope you enjoy our our off-the-beaten track photographs this week.

If you would like to come along to learn how to make compelling photos, make some new friends, explore stunning landscapes, visit exhibitions and places of interest and see what we are up to, then please take a look at our website and get in touch.  Every week we are somewhere different over the summer months: https://irvinecc.co.uk/programme
