From everyone at Irvine Camera Club we hope that you are having a good Christmas and wish you all a very Happy New Year.
As is the case every year, this can be a time for reflection – a look back at what we have done this year and for the club it has been another incredible year with members working on their own projects, learning new skills and getting involved with our local community groups.
These images were submitted to competitions from the start of our 2025/6 season until now, and I noticed that many deserving entries have not yet been published. It’s a strength of the club that we have a wide range of photographers with a variety of interests and so whenever I go into the vault to find images that we haven’t published before, there is always a wide choice available.
I wanted to show some of the black and white work that was presented this week as this lends itself to timeless photography and especially when there isn’t much light outdoors it’s a great way to think about creating images, whether out or inside.
Now to make plans for 2026……
If you have an interest in photography, would like to see what we are up to and want to be part of an exciting, all-inclusive club then why not come along, you will be made to feel very welcome.
We meet on Tuesdays, starting at 7.30 at Irvine Community Sports Club, Waterside, Marress Roundabout, Irvine KA12 8DL
