This week’s selection of images from Irvine Camera Club members were taken on a recent trip to the St James Watt Dock, Greenock.  With some great evening sunlight and broken clouds there was plenty to photograph.  As always, the different interests of our members are on display in these images from architecture, landscapes as well as the slightly unusual.  As the sun went down a quick visit to the timber ponds at Port Glasgow afforded a spectacular sunset.  With the wooden timber posts silhouetted against the golden sky it was a perfect end to another great evening out with the camera.

If you would like to join us on one of our walks please get in touch.  We have members who are complete beginners through to professionals with a wide range of skills that they are happy to pass on so if you are interested in photography why not come and join us.

Irvine Camera Club is very active on a weekly basis and have upcoming photo walks to Greenan Castle, Auchencruive and Strathaven.  There is also a full programme of talks, events and competitions throughout the autumn and winter.  Full details can be found on FB and Insta and on our website: https://irvinecc.co.uk/programme
