This week we are taking a look back over the summer with this selection of images from Irvine Camera Club members. One of the great things about being a member of a club is the weekly interactions you have with other people interested in the same things as yourself. Learning and sharing skills and in our case getting out and about, exploring new areas. Something we don’t talk about much are the interactions we also have with the public when out and how they can be a rich subject for anyone with an interest on portraiture or documentary photography. So as the autumn approaches, I thought we should celebrate the people we have met over the summer on our travels. The theme this week is ‘Contemplation and Animals.’
At Irvine Camera Club we are lucky to have members who are complete beginners through to professionals with a wide range of skills that they are happy to pass on, so if you are interested in photography why not come and join us.
Our full programme of talks, events and competitions that take place throughout the autumn and winter has just started. We meet on Tuesdays starting at 7.30 at Irvine Community Sports Club, Waterside, Marress Roundabout, Irvine KA12 8DL
