This week at Irvine CC we had the pleasure of welcoming Campbell Skinner to present his judging comments on our Mono Print Competition. It is always interesting to hear the views of others on our work, but also to receive some advice on the technicalities of the images presented. He also gave or members a lot of tips on how to improve our work and specifically, the best ways of presenting the work to future judges for competition or certification. It was a fantastic evening and we look forward to next week when he will be back to cast his eye over our colour print competition.
The images presented here are the overall winner - Malcolm Yates’ image, True Grit and our joint 2nd and 3rd place images all of which show the varied interests and high quality work being done by our members.
