In the Herald - Buchanan Wharf

This week’s selection of images from Irvine Camera Club members were taken on a recent trip to Buchanan Wharf, Glasgow.  As with our recent trip a few weeks back to St James Dock, Greenock, there was plenty to see and lots of opportunity for some creative photography as well.  Architecture and water are always an interesting mix for photographers – the man made getting up close to nature always provides interest, whether it’s in the reflections, the light bouncing around under the arches or a chance to play with longer exposures.

We also currently have an exhibition on display in Irving Library showing some of the work our members have produced recently.  If you are down that way, why not pop in and have a look.

If you would like to join us on one of our walks please get in touch.  We have members who are complete beginners through to professionals with a wide range of skills that they are happy to pass on so if you are interested in photography why not come and join us.

With the Autumn season just around the corner we will be heading indoors for a full programme of talks, events and competitions throughout the autumn and winter.  Full details can be found on FB and Insta and on our website: https://irvinecc.co.uk/programme
