SC6 Photo Walk Ayr Riverside and Town

Please go direct, meet in the Ayr College car park from 7 for a start at 7:30.

Photography Challenge (SC6)

Your challenge this evening is to shoot the following 3 themes.  

• Street - Capture life on the streets of Ayr
• Scenic River Ayr - landscape photography by the river
• In-camera black&white square crop -  You'll need to set your camera to Monochrome and Aspect ratio 1:1.  The idea is to emulate a medium format camera and encourage you to compose in the square format.  For DSLRs this will only work in Live View (using the screen to compose), but mirrorless and phones will allow you to see the scene as a square image in the viewfinder.  Ask for help if you're stuck.

We may work in groups of 2 or 3 and take several photographs during the evening.

Over the following week you will process and edit your images and select what you think are the best three photographs – one for each of the themes above.

Upload your chosen three to "Enter Competitions" - on the club website by midnight on Tuesday 29th June.
