Hello everyone. I hope you are all keeping well and staying safe.
While we are in the current situation I think it is important that we do whatever we can to keep the camera club going. Social interaction is as important now for us as it has ever been.
I would like as many of you as possible to install Zoom onto your devices (phones, tablets, PCs, Macs etc are all compatible). If you don't know anything about Zoom, there are some good YouTube tutorials to have a look at. It's not complicated but, it does take a wee while to get comfortable with the app. Please try to familiarise yourself with it over the next few days. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
My intention is to run a weekly virtual club meeting at 8pm each Wednesday. The first one will be a social meeting. A chance for us to catch up and say hello, but also to try out the Zoom application and iron out any issues.
Future meetings will be tutorials, critiques, workshops etc.

I take it that we'll all be joining up for the free account that gives us up to 40 min in the meeting. If it goes well, we can all then "take a comfort break!" and do part 2 at say 9:00?
Clive, Ian J and myself were on the other night, looked really useful.
